Herbal Teas for Seasonal Allergies

While we love spring and everything that it entails, we don’t love the sneezing, itchy eyes, and dry throats that come along with the season. 

If you struggle with seasonal allergies, you’re not alone! Nearly 50 million Americans have symptomatic allergies that present themselves as soon as the pollen count begins to rise. 

There are A LOT of options for allergy remedies on the market, but one of our favorite ways to offer support through the allergy season is with herbal teas. Not only do many herbs support a healthy histamine response, but drinking a warm tea is a surefire way to soothe your throat and respiratory system. 

Here are some teas we recommend for alleviating your symptoms, and some WishGarden remedies that will pair nicely with each tea.

1. Rooibos tea – best overall seasonal support tea

Rooibos tea is a great overall choice for fighting allergy symptoms. 

Rooibos tea is a traditional Southern African drink made from a shrub native to the region. This tea is packed with antioxidants and antihistamine properties that are derived from quercetin, a bioflavonoid. Itchy eyes and runny nose, begone!

Take this tea up a notch by adding 6-8 pumps of our Kick-Ass Allergy formula.
